you’ll find this incredible space dedicated to the conservation and exhibition of exotic
plants from Mexico and around the world. Ranked among the Top 10 Botanical

agaves, and wild palms.
ESTERO EL SALADO

Vallarta. As the only urban estuary in Latin America, with 168 hectares of mangroves

food for all species that inhabit the bay.
Its fascinating fauna includes 29 amphibians and reptiles such as iguanas and river
crocodiles, crustaceans such as violin crabs, and 10 species of mammals such as
adorable raccoons and opossums.
Guided tours take you aboard boats through the channels teeming with plant and
animal life, and the opportunity to walk along the mangrove-surrounded pier.
PALO MARIA WATERFALL
Formed by the Palo María River, this waterfall is a must-see during your visit to
Puerto Vallarta. To reach Palo María waterfall, you’ll need to walk through the tropical
forest for approximately 15 minutes, but the effort will be worth it when you come

season.
